Reg Harwood and family set out with an idea to not only build a world class off-road camper trailer, but to also accommodate a family ranging from 2-6 people. Keeping comfort in mind they wanted a design that ensured reliability, giving even the harshest of critics the confidence to explore the most remote parts of Australia.

In 1994 Camprite was born. With the focus unwavering to this day, Camprite produce an Australian Made camper without compromise; Quality over quantity.

The campers have been refined over the years, and the team at Camprite pride themselves on the quality and finish of every single camper that leaves the Wangara factory. Still to this day, each camper is hand built by Reg’s two sons Matt and Tim.

In 2022 Camprite changed ownership, with Darryl and Kelly Ruland taking over. However the focus still remains the same, and the Harwoods, along with their values, remain very much a part of the growing Camprite family.
