MODCON C5 PLUS HYBRID OFF-ROAD CAMPER TRAILER

The C5 has been designed to be the pinnacle of luxury family camping, having all the inside caravan comforts together with the outdoor lifestyle of a hybrid camper trailer. The slide out chef’s kitchen sits under a quick set up, 5m awning. Inside is a Queen size bed, two long bunk beds for the kids, a lounge, separate toilet and hot water shower, a 3 burner gas cooktop, sink and a Thetford 105L fridge. A Thetford gas/electric hot water system supplies the internal and external showers and sinks.

The C5 electrical set up has a 600AH battery pack, 500W of solar with MPPT charger, 240v inverter/charger, DCDC charger and so on. The top end electrical system along with a 125L grey water tank and dual 95L water tanks allow you to camp for extended periods.

CARAVAN COMFORT

Drawing on the last 20 years of camper trailer manufacturing experience, Modcon have designed and built the ultimate in luxury off road touring, the C5 PLUS Hybrid Caravan.

The C5 Plus has a electronically actuated lift-up roof.

There is a Queen size innerspring mattress. The double bunk beds are 1930mm x 660mm.

There is also an internal ensuite with Thetford cassette toilet to provide true off grid, luxury camping.

C5 HYBRID PLUS LAYOUT

The undercarriage is the backbone of any camper trailer, and Modcon‘s chassis, draw bar and suspension are built to withstand the corrugations and other surprises that lie in wait on Australia’s outback roads.

Utilising 20 plus years of making off road campers, Modcon has placed the entire body of the C Series campers onto the chassis with the drawbar running under the chassis all the way back to the trailing arm suspension hangers. Cross braces further strengthen the draw bar.

The independent trailing arm suspension is also built with Australia’s outback roads in mind with dual shock absorbers and heavy duty springs providing a stable and safe ride.
