SINGLE CAB / EXTRA CAB SLIDE ON CAMPER

Trayon’s Single cab slide on camper can fit on most Extra-cab vehicles as well.  All Single-cab/Extra-cab campers can sleep a third person inside, the lounge converts into a third bed.

Trayon make 3 model sizes in the Single-cab/Extra-cab campers.  These sizes exist to accommodate the different vehicles and tray sizes.  The 1830, 1980 and 2100 are the model names and are indicative of the width of the camper (eg: the 1830 is 1830mm wide) Please note that the Trayon 2100 model is only meant for extra wide wheel base vehicles like trucks and American vehicles  The dry-weights of each size is listed at the bottom of this page.

Go anywhere…set up in under 5 minutes

A Trayon camper will go anywhere your 4WD will go. Thanks to its lower weight it affects your 4WD’s capability less than other tray-back/slide-on campers. And if you compare it to a towable campervan…well, there is no comparison. The Trayon can go on forever. But when you’ve had enough it’s a relief to know you’re only 5 minutes away from a cold drink. That’s how little time it takes to put up the Trayon…if you do it all by yourself. With a bit of help it’s even quicker.

Weighs less… Contains more

Trayon is made out of aluminium, not fibreglass like most other campers. That not only makes it stronger but also hundreds of kilos lighter than other tray-back/slide-on campers. In other words…you can fit more of your own stuff in and Trayon has plenty of storage room for just that. On top of that, Trayon is fitted with a proper size fridge/freezer (90 litres), gas bottle (9 litres) and water tank (110 litres)…all for your convenience in the bush. A huge double bed, comfortable seating and a spacious kitchen makes Trayon your ultimate home away from home.

Made in Australia…not China

Trayon Campers is a rock solid Australian company based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Every single Trayon camper is assembled by hand on our premises…you are more than welcome to come and have a look. Many of our highly skilled team members have been with us for more than a decade. They are cutting no corners in the design and manufacture of what we believe is the best tray-back/slide-on camper in the world. Trayon is made for campers by campers.

TRAYON’S TRAY MOUNTED CAMPER

offers the camper and traveler a multitude of features which add up to a very versatile unit for travel. As well as comfortable living and sleeping quarters with a well equipped kitchen which includes built-in cupboards, table (converts to a single bed), seats, Double bed, fridge, stove, water tank, water pump, sink, gas bottle, cushions and camper legs for free-standing, the less obvious features deserve a mention.

While there are many features incorporated in the camper, here are a few good reasons why our removable camping unit is worthy of consideration:

SHADE & SPACE

By simply flipping the roof over, you immediately have an instant shady awning, a covered entrance into instant living and sleeping quarters and with the optional addition of a flyscreen or canvas annexe, the living area can be easily extended.

Deluxe (1830 or 1980)

It has extra on top of the standard inclusions:

Diesel Deluxe (1830 or 1980)

This is the top of the line model and the most popular model choice by far; Instead of using a gas appliance to give you hot water only, the Diesel Deluxe uses a diesel-appliance that is very powerful and highly efficient to supply constant hot water with the added benefit of internal cabin heating.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Image

We kept our first Trayon for three years, criss crossing Australia and ticking off all the iconic 4WD tracks at least once. We did the Canning Stock Route (from Well 23 to 51) four times, three by ourselves! We didn’t shy away from tracks that were, and still are, unmarked on HEMA and VMS maps. The Trayon performed flawlessly.
